Women of the South was founded in 1995, a group of Southside women created a non-profit organization comprised of women helping women.

"Our mission is to provide cultural, civic, educational and social activities for the South Oklahoma City metro area."

To accomplish our purpose, Women of the South sponsor several fundraising events including our Annual Southern Gala and the Magnolia Brunch.

Women of the South has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships and participates in many cultural and community projects. Financing for these programs is achieved through these annual fundraising events.

We invite you to join this active group of women and participate in one of our exciting volunteer opportunities. Monthly business meetings are held the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the South Oklahoma City area.  See our calendar and monthly newsletter for specific locations.
